My Usana Business and The Silver Director Run!

usana-silver-directorWhat a whirlwind week it has been in my Usana business, with some real highlights that I wanted to share today!

Despite being in Croatia on holiday until Thursday, I have still been able to enroll two new Business Associates, secure repeat customer orders and Rank Advance to Silver Director!

I am not writing this post to “pat myself on the back”, or “toot my own horn” though (well, perhaps just a little bit)! I am writing this post primarily as validation that the online marketing methods that I use really work. I know that I have learned some powerful Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) methods that could translate into a marketing strategy for any business I choose to build now, or in the future.

Selling Usana Products Online

search buy usana productsAs is evident from my blog, I am an Independent Associate for Usana Health Sciences. I sell Usana Products and I promote the Usana Home Business opportunity.  If you search for “buy usana products” in Google, I occupy positions 2, 4 and 5 in the organic listings (after any sponsored Ads). Positions 2 and 4 belong to my Usana legacy site and position 5 belongs to my blog.  You will also notice from the screenshot (click to enlarge) that there are 290,000 returned results for that keyword alone.  This is just one of the product related keywords that I optimise my sites for.

This type of keyword targeted SEO yields results! Every week, Usana Europe publishes a list of the top 25 Customer Enrollers.  I would approximate that I appear on this list 7 or 8 times out of every 10.  The image below shows a typical week, rather than an exceptional week:

I don’t recall ever being number 1 on the list, but consistent results is the goal here!

Sponsoring Usana Associates Online

search usana home businessLet’s look at a second example: If you search for “usana home business” in Google you will notice that I occupy positions 5 and 6 with my blog.  You may think that isn’t particularly good, but looking more closely you will see that this there are 2,360,000 results!  I’ll take 5th out of 2.4 million any day!  Also, the first 3 results belong to Usana’s corporate website and the 4th is a Usana sub-domain (old legacy site).

And the results?  Well this week I have sponsored a new Usana Business Associate in Los Angeles, California, US and a new Business Associate in Manila, Philippines.  Both were as a result of online marketing efforts and both were sponsored without any interruption to my summer holiday!

Final Thoughts from a New Usana Silver Director

I will keep a few key pieces of information back to share with my team, but as a little teaser, if you want to promote your business online then make sure you know who your target customers are and how / why you are going to target those customers in particular!
